Knowing a strong storm was on the way I wanted to clear this snow loaded roof before the weather hit. The roof is way too steep to clear with a saw and shovel in the traditional fashion. %26nbsp%3BSo%2C up on top%2C I cut a curf with my snow saw the length of the%26nbsp%3Broof ridge%2C then set a loop of wire down in the cut. Next%2C I dropped each end of the wire down%26nbsp%3Bto the ground. %26nbsp%3BWith one end of the wire secured to a %E2%80%9Cdead-man%E2%80%9D I pull the other%26nbsp%3Bend of the wire closing the loop releasing the snow mass from the roof.
