Bill Lombardi, based in Helena, is known throughout Montana for his diverse career. A former journalist, he worked on policy and politics at both the state and federal level. He served as Secretary of the Montana Senate when Jon Tester was state senate president. Later, he helped launch Tester’s successful campaign for U.S. Senate. He also worked as communications director for U.S. Sen. Max Baucus and for Mark O’Keefe when O’Keefe was Montana’s state auditor. A hard-core sports fan and mean guitar player, Lombardi coached his son’s youth hockey teams and continues to play in rock bands.
