Chet Work is executive director of the Gallatin Valley Land Trust, headquartered in Bozeman, Montana. He has extensive experience working on large landscape conservation issues and protection of agrarian lands in both rural and high-growth communities. Prior to arriving in Bozeman in 2020, he lead the Land Trust for Santa Barbara County, California and before that, was executive director of the Teton Regional Land Trust in eastern Idaho. He also has worked for The Nature Conservancy and completed an environmental education residency at Teton Science Schools in Jackson Hole.
