NRCC is involved with a plethora of wildlife conservation issues in the Greater Yellowstone region, including grizzly bear recovery. Recently, it has also explored the issue of how to protect fragile bighorn sheep populations from diseases carried by domestic sheep, from recreationists displacing the animals from habitat and from exotic mountain goats invading their terrain. Further, it has successfully helped promote solutions to power line collisions that were killing trumpeter swans in Idaho. Photos of grizzly and bighorn sheep courtesy of R.J.
